let’s get scrappy… we will make a beautifully textured ring shank, created from layers of
fused sterling silver (including some scrap), that wraps your finger in style.
we will add an offset bezeled stone for some color, and embellish with bronze bitlets for style.
this is a great class for an introduction to fusing and will also take out the intimidation of sizing rings.
you can do it!

bring at least this amount, or more if you happen to have it
20 g sterling silver sheet : 3 inches by 1 inch
16 g sterling silver wire : 6 inches
scrap silver (wire, sheet, whatever you have)
tools required:
favorite hammer/s
flush cutters
jewelers saw and blades (#2/0 & #3/0)
steel bench block
bench pin / 3” or 4” C-Clamp to secure bench pin (tables vary in thickness)
pliers – flat nose, chain nose, round nose
files – hand files and needle files
cross lock tweezers
soldering pick
bezel pusher & burnisher
sharpie
scissors
ruler (with mm reading helpful)
sanding sticks and/or sandpaper (220-400 grit)
cut lube or wax for burs / saw blades
safety glasses
