Susan Lenart | Sacred Geometry in Wire: creating architectural jewelry structures | Sunday, February 1, 2026 | 9:00 am until 4:30 pm

$220.00

Dive into a unique and powerful exploration of architectural forms and sacred wire structures in this hands-on, 6-hour jewelry workshop. You’ll spend the day building dimensional forms out of wire and sheet ̶ vessels that can hold gemstones, affirmations, talismans, and deeply personal elements.

Inspired by the geometry of nature, sacred architecture, and raw construction, you’ll learn to create jewelry that feels like a framework for intention: structural, open, and alive with meaning.
Through intuitive and precise metalworking techniques ̶ including twisting, soldering, forging, layering, and prong construction ̶ you’ll explore how to make work that embodies both form and space, strength and elegance.
This is more than a technical class. It’s a creative meditation on containment  ̶  how to build wearable objects that hold energy, memory, and story.
What You’ll Learn
• Soldering delicate and complex wire joins
• Constructing prong settings and architectural forms
• Layering wire and sheet into hollow or open structures
• Creating balance between tension, strength, and lightness • Using negative and positive space for visual impact
What You’ll Create
Students will complete a pair of earrings or a dimensional pendant ̶ or components that can be incorporated into a personal body of work. Every piece is designed to feel like an object and an experience, elegant yet raw, meaningful and wearable.
This workshop is ideal for metalsmiths, makers, and artists who are ready to expand their skills with nontraditional structural wirework, and want to create work that feels architectural, expressive, and sacred.
