LET’S WELCOME! Chapin Dimond | Tube-tastic Hollow Hoop Earrings | Sunday, February 1, 2026 | 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (one-hour lunch)

$310.00

Chapin is a Colorado native inspired by nature and the magic of metals. In 2003 he discovered the magic of metalsmithing and earned a BFA in Art: Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing from Metropolitan State College of Denver. For many years, Chapin has taught a variety of workshops, making the magic of metalsmithing fun and accessible.

“Swing that hammer, light that torch, and see that magic happen.”

In this class students will learn how to bend/coil tubing into a hoop shape without dents or kinks.

Students will fabricate an internal hinge using the hoop walls and the ear wire, (the ear wire moves).

Students will make samples in brass and a pair in silver.

The bonus project is simple textured hoops.
