Sarah Long (Brown-Dog Studio) | Silver and Gold Layered Earrings| Tuesday, February 6, 2024 | 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm

Get your jewelers saw ready for pierced and layered sterling earrings with an organic gold inlay.

An application of patina really highlights the contrasting metals, bringing added depth to even simple designs.

Techniques covered include piercing with a jewelers saw, creating “mirror image” earring designs, sweat soldering, a simple method of gold application, creating matching ear wires, patina, refining and finish work.
