CANCELING CLASSES

• There are no refunds available for The Academy classes. Videos, documents and chat sessions will be available for a period of time and accessible to all students who have registered and paid, regardless of their participation in the interactive class time.

IN THE VERY RARE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY OR UNAVOIDABLE NATURAL DISASTER OR ACT OF GOD, A CLASS MAY BE CANCELLED. IN THIS SITUATION, ALL FEES WILL BE REIMBURSED.

I understand that jewelry making and metalsmithing are inherently dangerous activities and I acknowledge that the following inherent risks are associated with such activities, including but not limited to: (1) the use of and exposure to superheated gases and torches; (2) handling hot metals and solder; (3) exposure to sharp objects; (4) exposure to power tools;  (5) property damage; and (6) harm to self or others.

In the event an injury occurs during the execution of The Academy classes, Solem’s Classic Interiors, LLC will not be held liable for any subsequent injury or property damage. Solem’s Classic Interiors, LLC and any affiliated officers, employees, agents, and instructors do not have control over the premises and set-up of students during the execution of the class. Students are responsible for all safety protocols associated with their remote set-up and must take the highest precautions to ensure that harm or injury do not occur to any person or property.

I hereby release and waive Solem’s Classic Interiors, LLC, its officers, employees, agents and instructors from any liability, claims, demands, and causes of action arising out of the activities associated with this event.

It is my express intent that the waiver and hold harmless provisions of this agreement shall survive my death and apply to all my agents, successors and assigns, heirs, and personal representatives. Both parties agree to apply the laws of the state of Arizona and enter into binding arbitration if a dispute were to arise.

If any portion of this agreement is deemed unlawful or unenforceable then only that portion will be stricken and the remainder of the provisions will remain in force.

Online courses are fantastic options for our students!

The Academy will offer a variety of classes throughout the year, taught by the same caliber designer/instructors you have come to know and love at our in-person Vivi Magoo retreats.

Course videos and PDF’s are accessible online for the duration of the class, allowing access from anywhere you happen to be.

With fewer distractions, many students report a better level of concentration in online classes.

The ability to study in your pajamas is only one benefit of online classes!
