Greetings from Vivi Magoo!
It’s been a while since we’ve been in touch, but don’t think we’ve been sitting around doing nothing! Not us! We’ve been busy planning our retreats for the remainder of this year and into 2018 (can you believe it – 2018 – OMG!), and we want to give you a heads-up on a few things we have planned for you.
We’re opening registration for Art Retreat on the Prairie this coming Thursday, May 25th at 8:00 am MST.
We’re returning to The Prairie with a Vivi Magoo LTD event this year, and we have an incredible time planned for fourteen lucky students. Anne Mitchell is going to be our Artist-in-Residence, and she has a full schedule of activities planned to keep us busy from morning to night. She is going to take you on a design voyage, and when you’ve completed the intense three-day curriculum, you will be equipped to take your design from concept through completion. If you’ve taken classes from Anne in the past, you know that she will go above-and-beyond the call of duty to teach and mentor you in new and innovative ways.

We have several students waiting to jump online and register as soon as the site goes live, so don’t wait too long if you’re interested in joining us in Round Top this fall. We are on our way to Coronado, CA in June to host,
“From Mild to Wild” with Robert Lopez.
We’re thankful that Robert has joined the Vivi Magoo family, and our students are thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from this fabulously creative up-and-coming instructor. Many of you welcomed him to our family last February in Tucson and have been singing his praises ever since. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook from June 14th through June 16th as we share moments with our fans and followers during the Vivi Magoo LTD engagement.
Finally, we traveled to Tucson last week to see the renovations that are taking place on the Hilton Tucson-East hotel. They walked us through the guest rooms that have been completed, and they look beautiful! The hotel promises us that we will be some of the first to enjoy the completely new and improved hotel when we return in 2018. New restaurant, bar, classrooms, guest rooms and lobby (including a Starbuck’s!) for our enjoyment. We are thrilled and can’t wait.
