If you would prefer to work in sterling silver, we do encourage you to bring  wire from home.  You can always purchase from SJ Supply who will once again be onsite with us during our retreat. Mario and his team will also take phone orders ahead and have your materials or tools available at our retreat when you arrive.

I will have six sets of class tools to use in the classroom. If you would like to work faster, please consider bringing your own basic hand tools from home.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Spend a fun evening at the bench creating beautiful mixed-metal earrings while exploring essential wire-forming techniques.

Kim will guide you through forming wire around mandrels to create interesting shapes, then show you how texture can transform those simple forms into earrings with dimension and personality.

You’ll practice forming, texturing, and simple soldering as you construct your earrings, then explore patina and polishing techniques that add contrast, highlight texture, and give your finished pieces a beautifully finished look.

You’ll leave with handcrafted mixed-metal earrings—and practical wire-working and finishing skills you can bring to future jewelry projects.
