coming from Canada, I drop ship a pallet of my personal studio equipment. Quite a cost to do this; however, it is to my student’s advantage to have access to everything needed to complete this project.
Because I want my students to have personalized attention in my classroom, I hire professional assistants who are amazing, qualified, and capable metalsmiths. My goal is to maintain a ratio of 4-5 students per instructor/assistant.

Class Description
Are pointy stones intimidating to set?
This class will take the mystery out of hammer setting faceted pear-shaped gemstones while you create a striking bi-color ring in sterling silver and bronze.
Students will learn how to design and construct a sterling silver ring featuring a richly textured, reticulated surface accented with bronze.
We’ll work through the techniques needed to securely and professionally hammer set a faceted pear gemstone, with special attention to protecting the delicate point of the stone and achieving a clean, even setting.
