A lot of our students have told us they’d love an easy way to gather necessary tools and supplies for class, so we came up with something we think will make it simple for you.

Mario and his crew from SJ Jewelry Supply in Phoenix will be joining us with an onsite shop at
THE DESERT 2026 in Tucson for the entire retreat.
February 1st thru February 6th
8 am until 7 pm
They’ll bring a full selection of supplies, tools, and materials so you can shop once you arrive—no need to pack everything ahead of time. If you’d rather plan in advance, you’re welcome to place your order ahead of time, and they’ll have it ready and waiting for you on your first day of class.
Need metal? Wire? They’ve got you covered.
Solder? Flux? Absolutely.
Butane, propane, or other fuel? Yep!
Gemstones and cabochons? Those too!
The Phoenix shop is owned and operated by a wonderful family, led by Mario Morales. His wife, Erika, son, Steven, and Erika’s brother, Jorge, complete the team
and they’re all excited to help make gathering your supplies easy and stress-free.
We guarantee they’ll make your life easier. No kidding! We use them all the time—Mario is our go-to guy.

Scroll down to the Student Supplies section and jot down the items you’d like to purchase.
Once you’ve got your list together, simply text Mario and let him know you’re a Vivi Magoo student and would like to place an order.
He’ll get back to you with next steps—it’s that easy!
