Some instructors provide nearly everything you’ll need to complete your project, while others ask students to bring their own favorite tools and a few basic supplies.
Most in structors will supply a class kit for a fee to be paid to them at start of class. Most will also have you bring some tools and supplies to class as well.
As you review your class descriptions, be sure to look for the Student Supplies List included with each class.

Worried about traveling with jewelry-making tools or art supplies?
Good news—they’re usually no problem when packed properly in your checked luggage. And if you’re feeling a little nervous about flying with your favorite tools or a small butane torch, we’ve got a tried-and-true system that’s never let us down.
We pack everything neatly in Ziploc bags with a copy of the class description tucked inside. If TSA decides to take a peek, they’ll immediately see what everything is for. (Your torch is just fine—just remember to leave the fuel at home.)
That said… if you’d rather skip the TSA tango altogether and not lug your supplies through the airport, I highly recommend shipping them ahead. It’s easy, convenient, and makes traveling so much simpler.

The hotel is happy to accept shipments before the retreat if you’re staying at the hotel. They do, however, charge a handling fee for each box they receive.
So I’ve come up with another option!
I live in Scottsdale, just a short drive from the hotel, and I’d be happy to accept your shipment at my home at no charge.
I’ll personally make sure your boxes are delivered to the hotel and waiting for you when you arrive.
It’s one small way Vivi Magoo can help keep your retreat costs down.
If you’d like to take advantage of this option, please arrange for your packages to arrive the week before the retreat, and be sure to write your name clearly on every box.
I’ll transport your boxes to the hotel and have them ready for you when you arrive.
Text me when you arrive at the hotel for your classes, and I will let you know where you can retrieve your things.
