We will be making a 3 layer cascading book (size approximately 7” x 5”) with a simple knot binding.
Completed it can be hung as a wall hanging or even worn as a distinctive neck piece.
The pages will consist of vintage ephemera, fabrics and papers.
We will make our own pages by taking a piece of vintage ledger paper (I will supply) and collage and paint on it.
This will be torn up to made additional pages.
We will also be creating some image transfers onto fabric.
Lastly we will be doing some hand stitching and to complete the book we will create wings our of wire to attach to the side of the largest book.
WE WILL RELEASE SEATS FOR PURCHASE THE MORNING OF REGISTRATION.

Vintage linens and laces (I will supply most in a kit but if you have some pieces, like old vintage tablecloths, runners or napkins, feel free to bring them)
Acrylic paints- I use full body Golden acrylics- titanium white, Paynes gray, alizarin crimson, yellow ochre…..but bring what you fancy
Paint brushes-a small variety of brushes to apply paint
Matte gel medium
Stabilo pencil
Pencil and eraser
Water container
Paper plates or palette paper for mixing paint
A chip brush for applying matte medium
Scissors
Collage images- Magazine or copy images of textures, patterns, figures , animals , florals etc.
Embroidery thread and needle
