When Nina Bagley emailed us in early January to let us know her mother was gravely ill, in need of her attention and that she wouldn’t be able to teach for us in February, Erin and I went into panic emergency mode and began scrambling to pick up the pieces. There were many students who were signed up for her classes, and we needed to find a way to help them out of this sticky situation. It so happened that we were at CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) trade show in Anaheim, CA when we received the news, and that was where we met John for the first time. He’s extremely talented, highly energetic and a really nice guy, and he offered to step in at this incredibly last minute to help Vivi Magoo out. No one can replace Nina; that we know – but we wanted to offer a few options for those students and give others a chance to take a class from a fun and motivating teacher as well.
John will offer three classes to lucky students – one on Monday, 2/1, the second on Tuesday, 2/2 and the third on Wednesday, 2/3.Have you heard of Relics-&-Artifacts? It’s a new line of resin and plaster blanks that Sandra Evertson has created under the Prima Marketing, Inc. banner. Awesomeness! Each of his classes incorporate a Relics blank, and John will show students how to embellish them to resemble antique relics or just plain fun focal pieces.
Why not take a break from your bead shopping and relax in one (or more!) of John’s fun new classes! You’ll be glad you did!
(PS – Sandra will be on hand on Thursday – all day – demonstrating the many uses of her Relics-&-Artifacts blanks and showing her new 2016 line. Stop by the Vivi Magoo Registration Area to meet her!)
