Did you know you can ship your tools and supplies ahead of time to the hotel?

Barb Solem2026, Art Retreat in the Desert, General Information, News, shipping, VIVI MAGOO NEWSLETTER

Some of our instructors have everything you need to create your project in their classes; others require you to bring your own tools and supplies.

Read through each of your class descriptions and pay extra attention to the category titled, “Student Supplies.”

Those are the items you will be responsible for bringing to that instructor’s class.

Are You Worried About TSA or the hassle of checking your tools on the plane?

Good news — TSA is usually pretty great about letting your supplies through when they’re packed in checked luggage. And if you’re feeling a little nervous about flying with your beloved tools and torches, we’ve got a tried-and-true system that’s never let us down.

We pack everything neatly in Ziploc bags with the jewelry class descriptions included, so if TSA takes a peek, they can see exactly what everything is for. (Your torch is fine — just leave the fuel at home.)

That said… if you’d rather skip the TSA tango altogether and not lug your supplies through the airport, we highly recommend shipping them ahead to the hotel. Easy, breezy, and zero stress!
