A WARM WELCOME to Laney Clark! | Gold Sketched Mountains: pendant and earrings | Tuesday, February 3, 2026 | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (one-hour lunch)

$290.00

The allure of pure gold… the age old love story.

But with today’s volatile metals market it can be hard to justify adding gold to our designs.

BUT it can be done even with a smaller budget!

In this class we we learn how to fuse 24k yellow gold to Argentium and use the rolling mill and oxidation to make that gold POP!

Patience and good torch control are key, plus maybe some magic thrown in for good measure.

We will solder and tube set sweet little aqua blue CZs to add a little color to our pieces.

By the end of this class you should walk away with a pendant and pair of earrings that will dazzle your friends and family plus some new skills to take back home to your studio.

We’re thrilled to bring
LANEY CLARK
to THE DESERT 2026!
LANEY HAS BEEN MAKING METAL JEWELRY FOR 30 YEARS.
HER WORK IS MOST OFTEN INSPIRED BY THE ABUNDANCE OF NATURE THAT SURROUNDS HER IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, BUT OCCASIONALLY SHE CAN BE PERSUADED BY THE BOLD, STRAIGHT LINES OF THE URBAN SCENERY OF THE CITY.
EACH PIECE OF JEWELRY SHE CREATES IS A SMALL PIECE OF ART MEANT TO BE WORN.
