in this workshop we will work on invaluable techniques by creating an oval bangle/bracelet that’s easy as heck to put on,

introducing a unique clasp and catch, and adding a simple hinge.

we will work on a fairly simple bangle to get you through the process in a single day,

so when you continue on your own,

soldering blocks, pumice pans, flex shafts, flux, pickle, patina, steel bench blocks, saw frames/blades, and much

materials required

bring at least this amount, or more if you happen to have it

20 g sterling silver sheet : 2 pieces at 4 inches by .5 inch (for a total of 8”x .5”)

18 g sterling silver wire : 2 feet

16 g sterling silver wire : 6 inches

tools required

favorite hammer/s

flush cutters

bench pin / 3” or 4” C-Clamp to secure bench pin (tables vary in thickness)

pliers – flat nose, chain nose, round nose

files – hand files and needle files

sharpie

sanding sticks and/or sandpaper (220-400 grit)

safety glasses
