Whether experienced artist or novice, this one-day workshop will dare you to let go of expectations, ignore the rules, and infuse freedom into your creative process.

Artist and author of The Art of Expressive Collage, Crystal Marie, will guide you in understanding what it means to let go of control and find your own voice as an artist through a hands-on, comprehensive overview of the collage process.

From getting started, to recognizing and pushing past your blocks in the studio, to layout and intentional design, and the final presentation of your work — you’ll gain confidence in your abilities to create art you’re wildly excited about.

Participants can expect to leave this workshop with multiple small collage works on paper and a completed 8 x 8 collage on stretched canvas.
