Jessica Cote | NEW! A Pretty Purpose: Hidden Box Clasp | Monday, February 5, 2024 | 9:00 am until 5:00 pm

$275.00

Bringing together form with function, the box clasp is a classic choice when it comes to creating closure for a piece.

This class focuses on constructing a clever, concealed catch within a deep-seated bezel.

Fabrication of hollow forms, setting thick walls of silver, textural considerations and of course, the box clasp construction are all covered.

NOTE: Students will leave with an elaborate and artful clasp; however, sample necklace is shown with beads to suggest clasp usage.  Students may bring beads and stringing material to add to their clasp if desired.
