$220.00

Did you know that your metal and flux tell a story?

Do you know how to read it?

In this intermediate to advanced workshop, we’ll uncover the secrets that metal and flux reveal during the soldering process.

By learning to interpret these subtle signals, you can dramatically reduce meltdowns and unwanted textures in your work.

We’ll start with essential design considerations for creating open-form jewelry, then quickly move into hands-on practice by crafting a stunning open-form cuff.

You’ll gain insights into the critical moments just before the solder flows—or even melts—and how to control these to achieve your desired results.

Additionally, we’ll explore stone setting techniques, including bezel and tube settings, to add beautiful, personalized elements to your creations.

This course is designed for those who are already comfortable with the basics of soldering using a torch.

Although we will be working with butane torches, the skills you learn here will be transferable to any torch type, empowering you to elevate your jewelry-making skills to new heights.
