CRAFT YOUR OWN GUARDIAN ANGEL IN THIS ALTERED ART WORKSHOP

We will explore our creative influences & share inspirations as we reimagine an artist’s drawing mannequin as an altered art angel.

Crafted with love & infused with soulful storytelling, your angel will represent the people in your life who guide & watch over you.

This workshop will include some of my favorite techniques!

You’ll be learning paint finishes to create layers of character & age, wire wrapping to craft the wings & vintage-inspired hoop skirt along with assemblage instruction and meaningful embellishment guidance.

I can’t wait to see your Guardian Angels come to life with your unique signature elements

Additional Class Comments

I love adding a found, unexpected element for the base of the angel. Not only does it make your creation more unique & add to your personal storytelling, but it’s just fun to hunt for! In your kits I will provide a wooden base & 3” tall turned wooden candlestick to get your angel lifted up in flight.  Be on the lookout for something special like a candle base, old bottle, large spool, or other interesting stand that would add to your angel’s distinctive style!
