Kristin Peterson | The Collector’s Cache – A Mixed-Media Book Workshop | Tuesday | August 4, 2026 | 9:00 am until 5:00 pm
$0.00
Join Kristin Peterson for an immersive mixed media book making experience.
We will use an easy-approachable binding principle that will create a quaintness to our books while allowing more to be added to later if you wish.
Pages will be built from recycled thin cardboard and provide structure.
Then, we will add vintage and handmade papers to add character and charm.
We will be purposeful in page selection as we pull this all together to include, making a small fabric bag to put our book into for safe keeping.
Offered three times this week, Kristin invites you to participate in one, two, or all three sessions.
While the foundational techniques remain consistent each day, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen your skills through repetition and refinement—building muscle memory and confidence as you go.
Come back for more than one day and let your work unfold—each session adding depth and character, until your book becomes a richly layered, one-of-a-kind piece that carries your personal signature.
WE WILL RELEASE SEATS FOR PURCHASE THE MORNING OF REGISTRATION.

Kristin is always exploring and expanding the creative depths of being an artist. She very much enjoys vintage collage work and mixed media. Kristin loves color and things that have a love-worn comfortable feeling-like an old favorite pair of jeans-coffee stained, patched, painted and well loved. She wants her art to project feeling and make people feel good while looking at it. Her style contains vibrance mixed with a little funk, which is sprinkled with discreet sensibility.
