Jeanette Caines | NEW! Die Forming Beads in the Ancient Etruscan Style | Friday, February 2, 2024 | 9:00 am until 4:30 pm

$205.00

Join me to learn the ancient art of die making hollow beads, it is easier than you think!

I’ve been working on this reclamation of ancient technology project for the last three years and my brand new, hollow-form dies from my Queen Puabi Collection are ready to debut in the studio.

I will teach you how to use them to make gorgeous hollow beads and forms, just as the ancient goldsmiths did.

COPPER, STERLING, ARGENTIUM, FINE SILVER, GOLD – 26-gauge to 30-gauge (thinner is better!)

There isn’t any complicated equipment or hydraulic press required, just a mallet, one of my dies, annealing, and 30-26 gauge sheet in either copper, fine silver, Argentium silver or 22k gold.
