in this workshop we will work on invaluable techniques by creating an oval bangle/bracelet that’s easy as heck to put on,

introducing a unique clasp and catch, and adding a simple hinge.

we will work on a fairly simple bangle to get you through the process in a single day, so when you continue on your own, oh, just imagine the places you’ll go…

Student Supply List

materials required:

bring at least this amount, or more if you happen to have it

20 g sterling silver sheet : 2 pieces at 4 inches by .5 inch (for a total of 8”x .5”)

18 g sterling silver wire : 2 feet

16 g sterling silver wire : 6 inches

tools required:

favorite hammer/s

rawhide mallet

flush cutters

jewelers saw and blades (#2/0 & #3/0)

steel bench block

bench pin / 3” or 4” C-Clamp to secure bench pin (tables vary in thickness)

pliers – flat nose, chain nose, round nose

files – hand files and needle files

cross lock tweezers

soldering pick

sharpie

scissors

ruler (with mm reading helpful)

sanding sticks and/or sandpaper (220-400 grit)

cut lube or wax for burs / saw blades

safety glasses
