COPPER, STERLING, ARGENTIUM, FINE SILVER, GOLD – 26-gauge to 30-gauge (thinner is better!)

Metal: copper, fine silver or 22k gold – 26-gauge to 30-gauge (30-gauge is most pliable and easiest to work with and produces perfectly solid and strong beads)
Solderite board – 6”x6″
magnesia block
Soldering tweezers (not your best ones!)
Shears – I like Joyce Chen
Cross locking tweezers
Thin sharpie marker
file – cut 2
400-grit Sandpaper
Any flex shaft wheels you like for cleanup/polishing
Chain nose and round nose pliers
Steel block and cushioning underneath (sandbag, thick rubber, etc)
Leather mallet
Dividers
Wood Dowels
Scriber
Wire nippers
If there are any hand tools not mentioned here that you regularly use in the studio, please bring them.

- Once you have determined what you will need for class, send an email with your request for products and/or tools to SJ Jewelry Supply
- Go to our website, open the class description for the class, scroll down to the section “Student Supplies,” cut and paste the items you want to purchase into an email to Mario.

- When they receive your email, they will send you a return email acknowledging receipt of your request
- In this email, they will instruct you about payment methods
- Once your order is filled, they will send you a second email with confirmation stating your order is complete
