A modern take on a classic hoop.
In this 4-hour class we will create a pair of earrings with ball embellishments that go around each entire hoop.
What is not included… frustration while adding ball embellishments to a round surface.
I will take you through my process to avoid balls falling off of your circle as you go.
You will gain tips and tricks for your soldering toolbox that will apply to many future projects you create.

REQUIRED TOOLS
- Pliers: Chain Nose, Round Nose, Flat Nose, Flat/Half Round
- Flush Cutters
- Miter Jig
- Rawhide or Nylon mallet
- Steel Bench Block and rubber base
- Files Cut #2 – flat, half round
- Needle files
- Jewelers Saw & Blades (2/0 or 3/0)
- Cut Lube or Blade Butter
- Tweezers – for detail work and a pair for soldering
- Beaducation “Period” Stamp (or similar small dot stamp)
- Hammer to use with your period stamp
- Foam sanding pads (3M) – Fine, Superfine
- Sketchbook and/or pad of paper
- Pencil and Fine Point Sharpie
- Ruler
OPTIONAL SUPPLIES
- Work light and extension cord
- Magnification if required
- Your makers mark stamp or other stamps to add to the back of your pieces
