Julie Sanford | Kintsugi – Embracing the Imperfect: a ring class | Saturday, February 5, 2022 | 9:00 am until 5:30 pm
$215.00
Kintsugi is the general concept of highlighting or emphasizing imperfections, visualizing mends and seams as something to celebrate or focus on, rather than remove or replace. Isn’t that how life is? Especially this past year…. Let’s embrace the imperfect – focus for a moment on it, and then embrace it – repair it – create beauty out of it.
You’ll be blown away by this class! It’s like nothing you’ve experienced – possibly ever! In Julie’s class, you will experiment with this ancient technique as a means of analyzing the idea of loss, synthesis, and improvement through repair or rebirth.
Help us welcome Julie Sanford to the Vivi Magoo family of instructors! Julie has been creating quality made jewelry for over twenty-five years. She enjoys combining organic elements and textures with contrasting contemporary details creating one of a kind pieces that are fabricated, soldered, fused, formed, hammered and reticulated with various metals, final finishes and extraordinary gemstones.
